The Deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Konstantin Eliseev said that following the meeting of the speech with Secretary of state – head of the office of the President of Poland Krzysztof Sarsekim the parties agreed to the optimization of the list of Ukrainians denied entry to Poland, particularly to reduce.
“We agreed to work together to optimize. We are talking about a significant reduction, because should not, in our view, suffer from this, for example, historians, representatives of civil society”, – he told on air of TV channel “ICTV” on Sunday evening.
The journalists also, with reference to the word Eliseev said that the list of significant, and “includes not only radical, but historians, government officials and public figures”.
As reported, on November 17 in Krakow hosted a meeting of the Advisory Committee of Ukraine and Poland. The meeting was attended by Deputy head of the presidential Administration of Ukraine K. Yeliseyev and Secretary of state – head of the Office of the President of Poland Mersky.
November 18, Executive Secretary of the State interdepartmental Commission on Affairs of perpetuating of memory of participants of the antiterrorist operation, victims of war and political repression Svyatoslav Sheremet was denied entry to Poland.

In early November of 2017, the Polish newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, citing sources reported that the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland prepared a list of Ukrainians who are banned entry to Poland. According to the publication, the list can be S. Sheremet, who this summer took the decision to ban exhumation work in S. Kostiukhnivka manevyts’kyi district, Volyn region in the framework of the Polish Institute of national memory to search for the Polish legionaries of 1915-1916.
