In the Kiev region dentist a tooth pulled, broke a patient’s jaw.
Prosecutors told the doctor about the suspicion of improper performance of professional duties.
According to the report, the dental surgeon asked the citizen complaining of a toothache. After examination of the patient and the diagnosis the doctor removed his tooth.
“However, after x-ray of the skull at the injured fracture of the lower jaw, which, according to the expert, corresponds to the bodily injury of moderate severity and is in causal connection with the improper provision of medical aid”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
The doctor is threatened with corrective works, restriction or imprisonment for the term up to 2 years. It can also be deprived of the right to engage in medical activities for up to five years.
