Kia introduced the all terrain modification Picanto

Hatchback Kia Picanto X-Line got with the suspension increased by 15 mm ground clearance, and a 100-horsepower turbo engine.

Kia introduced the all terrain modification of the compact hatchback Picanto, which was called X-Line. Public premiere of new items will be held on 12 September at the Frankfurt motor show.

Kia Picanto X-Line got a retuned suspension with increased by 15 mm ground clearance. In addition, the hatchback got a reinforced bumpers, plastic cladding wheel arches and protective metal plates of the bottom.

Novelty equipped with three-cylinder gasoline engine working volume of one liter, developing 100 BHP and 172 Nm of torque. This is the most powerful engine ever installed on the smallest model Kia. This hatchback is capable of accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers.

Inside, a new steering wheel, leather-wrapped with contrasting green, and the aluminum lining on the pedals. In standard equipment includes multimedia system with seven-inch touchscreen display, interfaces support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and rear camera.

European sales of Kia Picanto X-Line start in the fourth quarter of this year. Pricing will be announced later.
