Kharkov risked in aircraft insulation, completely left without air service.
This is stated in the letter to the Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, which deputies of the city Council made in the course of the session on September 20.
As stated in the text of the document, the European aviation safety Agency sent to the State aviation service of Ukraine the draft of the Bulletin, according to which the airport “Kharkiv”, “Dnipropetrovsk” and “Zaporozhye” fall into the dangerous flight zone. If this decision is approved, the city will be in the aircraft insulation.
“The consequences of such a decision can be termination of the Kharkiv airport and related businesses, as well as border and customs control, involving 1.5 thousand employees”, – the document says.
The deputies appealed to Volodymyr Groisman with a request to bring the issue to the highest governmental level and to prevent the adoption of the Bulletin.
Note that, according to Wikipedia, Kharkov is the second most populated city of Ukraine.
