Recently the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate visited Paris along with Prince William. The world community had long discussed the outfits Kate, in which she spent two days in the French capital.
And 23 March, Kate went to a meeting at the Royal College of obstetricians and gynaecologists in London. The event was held on the eve of mother’s Day. So, behind the podium, the wife of Prince William gave a speech about the difficulties of motherhood, and postpartum depression.
“Motherhood is wonderful. However, this life stage is filled with many problems. Even when there is strong support at home, as in my case”.
Kate continued: “it is Impossible to prepare to become a mother. Many mothers, like me, are confronted with mistrust and a sense of their own ignorance, and for some the situation is complicated by the presence of postpartum depression and personal psychological problems.”
She also stressed that every woman should have the opportunity to receive psychological help after she became a mother: “Talking about motherhood as the beautiful side of life — that is correct, but we should not gloss over the stress and tension. Asking for help doesn’t have to be sign of weakness.”
Recall that Kate and William are raising two children: three-year-old Prince George and one-year-old Princess Charlotte.
