A reporter brought the case of participation in mass riots.
In respect of the correspondent of the propaganda TV channel Russia Today Alexander Rubinstein brought the case of participation in mass riots in Washington on inauguration day of US President Donald trump.
This was reported on the channel’s website.
“We confirm that against the journalist filed about the participation in mass riots. The employee is now on the loose. The hearing will be in February,” — said the press service.
According to the channel, Rubinstein on this charge faces up to 10 years of imprisonment or a fine of 25 thousand dollars.
Chief editor of the channel Margarita Simonyan wrote on Twitter that he would not comment on the situation at the request of lawyers.
Rubinstein was detained January 20, inauguration day of US President Donald trump.
He covered the protests in Washington.
As RT says, the reporter was taken to the police station, although he showed his press credentials.
