Two Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Jim and Valya Semerenko after the first world Cup in Ostersund entrenched in the top ten leaders in personal offset.
Jim in östersund twice stood on the podium, finishing in third place in the individual race and sprint. Semerenko was fourth in the individual race, sprint and pursuit twice finished in the top 25.
In the Nations Cup Ukraine is in second place, trailing by 69 points from Germany. Top 3 with 100-point lag from Ukraine closes Norway.

Men only Artem Prima and Sergei Semenov managed to get into the points zone. Prima prosecution rose to 24th place and has headed a rating of the best Ukrainian biathletes in the world Cup 2017-2018.
The men’s team in the Nations Cup is a modest tenth place (798 points). The leaders are Norway (1175), Germany (1156) and France (1139).
