It is a country of contrasts.
Photographer Ronnie Behnert lives and works in Berlin. He likes to shoot a new city and country. He recently spent three weeks in Japan and, according to him, was struck by this country, “the contrast between the desire of the Japanese forward, and their inextricable connection to nature.” According to the photographer, future and past merge in this country together – and this feeling he tried to convey in my series of Japanese photographs.
