The armed forces of the United States and Japan on Wednesday, 31 October, started a joint military exercise Keen Sword. This reports the Kyodo News Agency.
It is expected that joint exercises will last until November 8.
It is known that the exercises are held in Japan, they involve the ground units, aviation and naval forces of the two countries.
“The maneuvers involving about 47 thousand Japanese and about 9.5 thousand us troops,” the message reads.
As expected, the first day of the maneuvers will be worked out rescue exercise at the U.S. base at Misawa in the Japanese Prefecture of Aomori.
