A terrible thing happened: today is the last and most important signature received the law on blocking of mirrors a pirate (read, useful) sites on the territory of Russia. His visa under the text of the document was signed by one whose name in recent call is not necessary.
The law, which will enter into force very soon, simplifies the process of blocking of the mirrors, i.e. copies of previously blocked sites, in particular, everyone’s favourite torrent trackers and similar resources carrying useful and, most importantly, free information, and objectionable to those at the top. Now all will be well: the owner or Roskomnadzor may apply to the Ministry of communications and complain about a particular site, calling it, say, a mirror of Events. Slander will be considered literally within days, and in case of positive decision Roskomnadzor blocks it throughout the country.
Signed you-know-who the bill was proposed in March last year and June 23 this year, he was accepted by the state Duma. Importantly, the government will not delay its commissioning: after another five days, on 28 June 2017, the document was approved by the Federation Council, and today, under the text appeared the same painting. The law will come into force on 1 October 2017, plus the authorities are planning to ban anonymisers and VPN. Advised to prepare in advance and create for yourself a list of current proxy to use needed resources in the future.
