The official ceremony of apology and remembrance of all the Jews who were expelled from Italian universities with the advent of fascism, will be held at the University of Pisa.
The ceremony will be part of an extensive program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of racial discrimination. In its framework will host lectures, screenings and various events for the public and school students.
In events, among others, will be attended by the President of the Union of Italian Jewish communities Noemi Di Segni and victim of the Holocaust, Senator Liliana Segre.
It is noted that in Pisa was signed the first decree on the implementation of Italian racial laws. This led to the dismissal of more than two hundred teachers and 1.5 million students.
