Delivery of the tree was delayed due to bad weather

Shipping Christmas trees to Kiev from-for adverse weather conditions delayed – it arrived a day later, on December 4, not 3 as planned.

It is stated on page of the project Folk Ukraine in Facebook.

“Friends! In connection with snowfall and unpredictable difficulties of the road, the arrival of the Christmas tree a little late. We already can’t wait for the green Christmas beauty. Expect that the tree will arrive in Kiev tomorrow morning!” – stated in the message.

Activists assured that the tree should be at the entrance to Kiev December 4 – 10:00-10:30, and after that it needs to deliver to the Sofia area.

We will remind, in Kiev sparked a heated debate about the installation of the main Christmas tree of the country. Many residents don’t want for a holiday cut down a living tree.

Earlier it was planned to prepare and decorate a Christmas tree with garlands by 19 December — St. Nicholas Day.
