Kiev often choose unusual names.
In the first half of 2017 among newborns in Kiev registered the children with the names Adelaide, Mirabella, Prokhorov-Jai and even mark angel. This is stated in the report of the Chief of territorial administration of justice in Kiev.
When state registration of the birth parents are often favored such women’s names, like Sophia, Maria, Zlata, Eva, Catherine, Anastasia, Alice, Salome. For boys popular names such as Artem, Ivan, Maxim, mark, Dimitri, Michael, Alexander, Vladislav.
“Also at the request of the parents of the children assigned to the rare names, namely the female — Adelaide, Iolanta, Agatha, Agatha, Emma, Isabelle, the flower-Natalia, Cherishing, Mirabella, Raffaella, Santa, Chloe; male, Vsevolod, Gabriel, Gleb, Joseph, Emanuel, Anton, Zinovy, Zari, Kuzma, Lucas, mark angel u-Jai, Ruslan, Seraphim, Tryphon, Jarema”, — said the head of the Main territorial administration of Kiev Stanislav Kutsenko.
Thus in the message it is noted that “a lot of people don’t want their child to have the same name as five other classmates, which was named because it was fashionable.”
In Ukraine transferred children with disabilities in mainstream schools. In Ukraine 167 thousand children with disabilities, and this is 2% of the total child population. They are isolated from their peers in ordinary schools and therefore find it difficult to enter adult life. Only 10% of graduates of boarding schools integrated.
Recall that UNICEF has sounded terrible figures on persecution of Ukrainian children in schools. According to the organization, in Ukraine 67% of children aged 11 to 17 years faced with the problem of bullying (harassment) in the past three months. At the same time 24% of children were victims of bullying, while 48% of them never told anyone about these cases.
