Financial experts have calculated the amount, with a huge number of zeros.
The economic court of Kiev partially satisfied the claim of “Oshchadbank” and allowed to recover from the company “ESU”, owned by Rinat Akhmetov, 955 million UAH of debt on bond, reports “gromadske” with reference to the decision of the court dated August 2, 2017 published in the Unified state register of court decisions.
802,4 million UAH is the main debt, and 29.7 mln UAH – 3% per annum and 122, 7 million UAH amounted to the loss from inflation.
According to court records, in 2013 “Oschadbank” received 2 million bonds of LLC “ESU” with nominal value of UAH 1,000 each.
Now the Bank owns 839,1 thousands of bonds that must be redeemed in March, but this did not happen. The total volume of the securities issue amounted to 4 billion UAH.
The court decision stated that the company “ESU” filed a petition for postponement of execution of the judgment for 5 years – until July 30, 2022. However, the court granted a reprieve only for a year from the date of entry of the decision into force.
We will remind, in July the Economic court of Kiev ordered the owner of “Ukrtelecom” company “ESU” to return the State export-import Bank 2, 8 billion UAH.
