It became known how many Ukrainians owed for “communal”

Average accrual per the owner of the account amounted to UAH 1038,6.

The debt of the population of Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) for housing and communal services in March 2017 compared with a February 2016 decreased and at the end of March amounted to 25 billion hryvnias.

According to the State statistics service (gosstat).

So, the debt of the population for Central heating and hot water at the end of February totaled 10.4 billion UAH for electricity – 3,4 billion UAH for gas supply – UAH 7.1 bn, for the maintenance of houses and constructions and house adjoining territories – 2.5 billion UAH, for the centralized water supply and sewage services to 1.3 billion UAH, for the removal of household waste is 0.3 billion UAH.

We will remind, in February 2017, the population debt for housing and utility services amounted to 29.5 billion UAH. In March 2017 the population of the country paid for utility services 9.7 billion UAH (122,4% accrued during this period amounts). Among regions, the highest the national average level of payment for housing and communal services was observed in Ternopil and Kirovohrad regions (426,8% 136,1%, respectively), and the lowest in Ivano-Frankivsk (44,2%). Average charges for utility services, taking into account electricity (based on 150 kW.h), one the owner of the account in March 2017 was 1 thousand UAH 38.6 billion.

In March 2017, the population paid for electricity of 2.3 billion UAH (111.4 percent accrued for this period amounts). In pursuance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 27 June 2003 № 976 “About approval of the Procedure of repayment of the restructured debt and payment of current payments for housing and communal services” in January-March 2017 the population was reached 11.1 thousand agreements regarding the repayment of the restructured debt.

The total amount for which contracts were signed in part repayment of the restructured debt amounted to 60,8 million UAH, and the sum of made payments taking into account long-term contracts amounted to UAH 30.2 million.
