Ukrainians in July reduced debts for communal 7.5%.
Arrears on the payment of Central heating and hot water supply in July 2017 fell by 7.5% compared with the figure at the end of June and amounted to UAH 8 million.
This was reported by the State statistics service of Ukraine.
According to the report, the amount owed for the maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories for the reporting period increased by 3.3% compared to the previous month and amounted to 3.1 billion UAH, the amount owed for the removal of household waste has not changed and amounted to 400 million UAH. Debt for centralized water supply and drainage remained at the same level and amounted to 2.1 billion UAH.
According to state statistics, in July the Ukrainians paid for electricity 2.6 billion UAH (96.5% of the accrued in this period amounts). The debt for electricity as of the end of June amounted to 3.5 billion UAH, which is 8.5% less than in June of the current year. The debt for gas supplies fell by 3.6% compared to the previous month and amounted to 10.9 billion UAH.
Only in July the Ukrainians paid for housing and communal services 4.2 billion UAH, which has made 124,1% accrued during this period amounts (due to repayment of debts for the previous period). The highest level of payment was observed in Kharkiv, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions (161,9%, 157,4% to 151.8%, respectively) and the lowest – in Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Kirovohrad regions (84,5%, 85,5% and 93%, respectively).
It is also reported that during January-June 2017 the population was reached 40.6 thousand agreements on debt restructuring totaling 190.6 million UAH. Average charges for utility services, taking into account electricity (150 kWh), per the owner of the account in July of 2017 has made 523,3 hryvnia.
