In the current year in Ukraine has repaired more than 750 km of roads.
The total amount of funds already allocated for road works exceeded 20 bln UAH, and the length of the roads already repaired more than 750 km to 40 thousand km of track were patching.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.
Groysman reminded that this year the work began on time in April, whereas last year the first road tenders were held only in August.
“Every week we conduct inspection visits to regions, check the progress of repairs, their quality, open restored areas of the canvas. We will pay particular attention to the construction of new highways,” – said the head of government.
One of these projects, said the Prime Minister, the road Lviv – Odessa, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa, Nikolaev, and Kherson. The trail will unite the Western border ports and will become a powerful component of the transit potential of Ukraine. Work has already begun, in 3-4 years the country will receive a new road of European quality message to the West-South.
“We are consistently fulfilling the task to increase funding of the sector infrastructure and improving roads. In 3-5 years the situation in the road sector will change radically. The road quality is not only free and safe movement for citizens, but also a powerful point of growth for the economy and logistics of the state”, – said Vladimir Groisman and added that every hryvnia invested in construction of the road, provides 2.5 UAH GDP growth of the state.
