Exercise “Blue Flag” will be held within the next two weeks

In the exercise “Blue Flag”, which will be two weeks to pass in Israel, will be attended by representatives from 9 countries.

They will employ their own air and ground vehicles. Among the participants: the forces of Israel, USA, India, Greece, Poland, France, Italy and Germany and another country that has not yet been announced.

The exercise was described by the defence forces of Israel as “the largest military exercise in Israel’s history”. It is reported that this “huge leap forward” for the country’s armed forces.

“The purpose of the exercise is as realistic as possible to simulate extreme combat scenarios and joint flights” – said the Israel defense forces.

The exercise will involve air forces from the United States of America, Poland, Italy and Greece, and for the first time in it will take part in India, France and Germany.

Hundreds of soldiers and a huge number of air vehicles will take part in training held at the Uvda in the South: Israeli squadron of F-15, F-16I and F-16C / D will be used with transport aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. Greece, Poland and the USA will train using its own F-16, France – 2000D fighter jets Germany – aircraft Eurofighter Typhoon, Italy is a multipurpose fighter, and India will use the C-130Js.
It is also known that during training will be used in “electronic war”, however, that this implies is still unknown.

It was recently reported that Israel and the US have successfully implemented this week a series of tests of an advanced version of the new missile defense system “David’s Sling” (the Hebrew is referred to as “Sharvit xanim”, “Magic wand” – approx. interviewer).
