Within ten days of the regular part of reservists, the army, air force and Navy, special forces and intelligence will learn to repel single attacks and full-scale invasion of insurgents, to carry out evacuation of civilians from the rocket attacks, to conduct offensive operations to complete the destruction of a potential enemy.
“The exercise, which was planned in advance as part of the program of combat training in 2017 and will last about ten days, will involve various forces, regular and reserve division, 20 infantry, armoured, artillery and other brigades, special forces, army corps of engineers and parts logistics, Navy and air force, intelligence and logistics,” – said the military.
The training is called “the Ohr ha-Dagan” (“Light seeds”).
Now the main enemy in the North, the Israelis believe the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran and has, according to the Israeli side, armed with about 100 thousand rockets.
