Soviet Comedy Eldar Ryazanov “Irony of fate or With light steam!” will return to the screens of viewers in Ukraine after 2-year hiatus.
“The law of thought says that the picture can be banned, if one of the participants of the film are included in the list of persons posing a threat to national security, but in the law there is a definition of who is a “party movie”. A “party movie” is a physical person who participated in making the film made and/or demonstrated for the first time since 1991,” – says Ilyenko.
In this film, played by the actress from the “black list” – Valentina Talyzina. She signed the letter in support of Putin on Crimea, which became one of the cultural figures who pose a threat to national security of Ukraine. Under the “party film” should be understood a natural person who worked on the film after 1991, therefore, most likely, Soviet films “black list” is not threatened.

In particular, the premiere of “twist of fate” was held on 31 December 1975.
