Two passenger trains collide in Iran, eight people were killed and over 50 injured.
A collision of passenger trains occurred on Friday in Northern Iran, killing eight people.
Another 52 people were injured, many of them critical.
In the accident, which occurred in the province of Semnan, were derailed four cars, two of them caught fire.
According to the Agency, the trains collided at the station when one of them was unable to slow down before making a stop structure. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
