Call of Cthulhu is designed to deliver the “grim” fun to fans of Lovecraft, and those who are not familiar with his works.
Almost two years ago Focus Home Interactive reassured fans of HP Lovecraft (Howard Lovecraft) the announcement of a detective horror Call of Cthulhu. Since then, the game changed developers (was an Irish-Ukrainian craftsmen from Frogwares, and became the French Cyanide Studio) and to get hold of the first trailer, prepared for the E3 show in 2016.
Now for the New year the publisher has decided to treat us fresh screenshots of the project, which is the official adaptation of the tabletop role-playing game from Chaosium.
According to developers, Call of Cthulhu is designed to deliver the “grim” fun to fans of Lovecraft, and those who are not familiar with his works. And looking at new footage from the game, it’s hard not to agree with this description.
When Call of Cthulhu launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Focus Home Interactive has not yet reported, but hopes that no later than 2017.
