Interpol has refused to declare an international arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the request of the Russian Federation.
This was announced by the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov in his microblog Twitter.
“Interpol on may 3 officially refused Russia the absurd accusation and the request for international arrest warrant for Arseny. KGB provocation to burst,” he wrote.
According to the letter of Interpol, the request was rejected because it does not comply with article 3 of the Charter of the organization, which “strictly prohibits” engaged in interference or activity of political, military, religious or racial character
