International festival of chamber performances started in Kiev

The initiator and head of the project was the artistic Director of the “Wheels” Iryna Klischevska.

Kyiv academic theatre “Koleso” opened the international theatre festival of chamber performances AndriyivskyFest.

Monday, June 12, the festival was staged plays of Natalia Vorozhbyt “Sasha, take out the rubbish”, carried out by the Belarusian state youth theatre.

The festival, which closes on 18 June, also held exhibition of works of theatrical artists.

The initiator and head of the project was the artistic Director of the “Wheels” Iryna Klischevska. Comments for ZN.UA she says that “Wheel” has long and actively works in the festival niche: festivals of different formats (including “Echo”) was directly linked with this theatre. AndriyivskyFest with one hand, brandished “the scene” – the historical center of the capital, and on the other hand expands on the theatrical map. Because many guests of the capital will first seek here at St. Andrew.

The program AndriyivskyFest there are chamber performances from Romania (“the Proposal” by A. Chekhov, Theatre “Ateneul Din Lasi”); Georgia (“lullaby of war”, the Tbilisi theatre n. a. S. Akhmeteli); Bulgaria (puppet show, “Child”, the Bulgarian state puppet theatre from Vidin); Israel (“song of songs” by Sholem Aleichem from the Theater “Stage” of tel Aviv); Poland (Chekhov’s “the Bear” and “Proposal”. O. Sevruk, Elblag).
