Intel introduced 18-core Intel Core i9

This series of high-performance chips is focused on desktop computers.

Intel has introduced at Computex 2017 top 18-core processors Core X. the Range of processors designed for desktop computers and is targeted at enthusiasts and gamers, as well as the creators of the resource-intensive content.

The publication reports that the lineup includes more powerful versions of existing models, Core i5 and Core i7. And besides – the flagship series of Core i9. In the line offered as a 4-core modification, and the first 18-nuclear.

Regarding the cost it is reported that the younger 4-core with four threads will be sold for 242 US dollar, and the older from 18 cores to 1999 dollars.
