At least 20 people were killed and over 100 were injured in the result of the collapsed South-Western regions of India tropical cyclone “Ochi”, reported RIA of news in management on emergency situations of Tamil Nadu.
“The total number of deaths has exceeded 20 people. In addition, more than 100 injured, and about a hundred missing,” — said the Agency interlocutor.
According to rescuers, the storm completely destroyed more than 70 houses in Tamil Nadu, while another 1.1 thousand were damaged.
Just over the last few days rescued nearly 700 people.
Several search and rescue Indian sailors missing as a result of natural disasters, continued in South-Eastern waters of the Arabian sea, and in the Union territories of India, Lakshadweep. As reported earlier, the defense Ministry of the country, for the last day was saved 357 fishermen, most of them from Kerala.
