India tested a heavy duty nuclear missiles

The launch was carried out from a mobile platform on the ground in Chandipur.

The armed forces of India conducted a successful test launch of a ballistic missile “Prithvi-2”, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

According to the newspaper The Times of India, the launch is made in the East from a mobile platform at the landfill Chandipur in Odisha (formerly Orissa).

We know that this missile can carry a warhead weighing from 0.5 to one ton, and its range reaches 350 kilometers.

In 1996 held the first test launch of missiles of this type.

Earlier, the Indian military carried out a successful launch of a modernized cruise missile “BrahMos”.
