In Windows 7 and 8.1 have started to block updates

The manufacturer partially deprived older operating systems support.

Microsoft is beginning to block the updates for operating systems 7 and 8.1 computers with Intel chips and AMD Kaby Lake Ryzen. Now these computers will not be able to receive updates with patches that eliminate vulnerabilities.

In this step, the company suggests to the user that it is time to upgrade to the new operating system Windows 10.

When you try to upgrade users of Windows 7 and 8.1 get a message that the operating system is running on unsupported hardware. There is also a link with information about how to upgrade to Windows 10.

Meanwhile, Windows 7 remains the most popular of the operating systems manufacturer. Currently it is installed on half of the computers in the world. Finally, its support will end in 2020.
