In Vinnytsia the car brought down to death two pedestrians

The motorist was arrested.

The driver who after hitting two pedestrians, and fled the scene was detained. He faces imprisonment for up to 10 years.

“In Vinnitsa, police detained the driver, who on July 12 on the highway near the Epicenter made arrival on two pedestrians and the scene disappeared. In the accident one of the victims died at the scene, the other died during rendering medical care”, – stated in the message.

Dorozhno-transport incident happened around 1:00 on the road Stryi-Ternopil-Kirovograd-Znamenka, near the exit from the city of Vinnitsa.

According to preliminary information of the investigation, the driver of the car “VAZ 2115” made arrival on two pedestrians who ran across the roadway, and the scene disappeared.

In the accident, two residents of Letichev, Khmelnitsky region at the age of 28 and 29 were injured, incompatible with life. One of the men died at the scene, the other died during rendering medical care.

The man involved in the Commission of the offence, was arrested by a patrol on the outskirts of the city. It was them 45-the summer inhabitant of Vinnytsia. His escape the man explained the fear of the consequences.

Now the malefactor is detained in a procedural order on suspicion in committing a crime under part 3 St. 286 the Criminal code of Ukraine (violation of rules of traffic safety or transport operation by the persons operating vehicles, entailed death of several persons).

Recall that for such an offence is punishable up to 10 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without such deprivation.
