Ukrzaliznytsia plans to buy in 2018, new high-speed trains.
This was stated by acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Evgeny Kravtsov.
The purchase of new trains, he argued that they are in demand among citizens.
“High-speed trains are popular in Ukraine – travel them convenient and save time, so together with the Parliament and the government will work on the implementation of the program purchasing them in 2018 for public funds”, – said Kravtsov.
In addition, the official noted that Ukraine needs to increase funding for the development of passenger rail transport.
