The construction of the road Kiev – White Church can begin in 2019.
Advisor to the acting head of the State Agency of highways of Ukraine (“Ukravtodor”) Oleksandr Kava told how much the construction of a concession road Kiev – White Church.
“Now comes the preparation of a feasibility study of the road, so to speak about the exact value yet too early, but roughly it will be about $ 300 million,” said cava.
According to him, this will be a brand new concession road. And alternatively will remain the current free route Kiev – White Church.
He noted that, although “early to speak about terms”, the construction work can begin in 2019 and continue through 2021. The construction of the road will be solely at the expense of the investor, who then in a period of 25 years will be charge tolls on it. In this project, 5 are already interested foreign companies.
“It is necessary to amend the law on road construction based on concession. If the bill no 6766 be adopted by Parliament in 2017, there is a chance that the tender and redemption of the land under the project will be implemented in 2018, and then construction work can begin in 2019 and will last until 2021,” said cava.
