Deputies plan to ban travel abroad defaulters of the alimony.
The Verkhovna Rada intends to allow the contractor without the participation of the court to temporarily restrict the exit of the defaulter of the alimony abroad, if the arrears of maintenance payment exceeds the amount of payments for 6 months. The adoption of the basis of the bill voted 236 deputies.
At the moment, the question of debtor outside Ukraine in the execution of judicial decisions and the decisions of the officials is decided by the court.
The bill proposes to allow the contractor in the presence of such indebtedness prior to its maturity to limit the debtor of the right transport management and in the use of firearms hunting, pneumatic and other types of weapons.
The restriction of vehicle control can not be applied, if it is the main source of income, or the debtor uses transport in connection with disability or his military service, including in the area of anti-terrorist operation (ATO).
It is also proposed to amend the Code of administrative offences and to provide that failure to pay child support for six months entails performing social work for a period of 120 to 240 hours.
Social work is the implementation of paid public service, which define the local authorities, no more than 8 hours a day, and for minors – 2 hours.
The amendments to the Family code, the authors of the bill propose to provide that in case of failure to pay child support for 6 months, the parent with whom the child lives, can make their own decision about the temporary departure of the child abroad (without the consent of the defaulter of the alimony).
This option is available to travel abroad up to 1 month or more 1 month with the purpose of study or treatment of the child.
Recall that in Ukraine increased the minimum child support amount.
