In Ukraine has opened up the range for the 4G implementation
The government opened the 1800 MHz band for the introduction in Ukraine of radio-4G, the press service of the Cabinet.
“On Friday, 18 August 2017, the government has made changes in the Plan of use of radio frequency resource of Ukraine. In particular, the decision on spectrum harmonization for mobile systems (mobile) communication of the fourth generation in the range of 1800 MHz”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the opening of the 1800 MHz band for implementation of wireless technologies 4G will stimulate the development of domestic telecommunications, the digital economy, will improve the investment climate in Ukraine.
“Before the end of the current year it is expected the tendering process for the issuing of 4G licenses. Expected government revenue will be at least 3,975 billion UAH”, – said the press service.
It is reported that included in the Plan amendments also addressed the issue of spectrum harmonization devices short range (medical radioplant, the device for measuring the fill level of closed tanks, automotive radar, road safety, etc.).
We will remind, according to Groisman, the Ukrainian budget will receive UAH 10 billion from the tender for the introduction of 4G.
