The Verkhovna Rada registered a new draft law “On amendments to the Tax code of Ukraine regarding cheapening and increase the availability of individual electric transport in Ukraine”.
A group of deputies proposes to exempt electric cars from tax.
In particular, the draft law implies cancellation of VAT on electric vehicles during customs clearance. In addition, shall be exempt from VAT commercial activities with the use of electric cars. We are talking about taxi services, rental, leasing and transportation on request.
