Now anyone will be able to find the parent of the offender in the public domain.
The Ministry of justice of Ukraine began work on the creation of a public registry of citizens who do not pay child support for the child. This was announced by the head of the Ministry Pavel Petrenko.
Reportedly, the access to such a resource is already open. Now anyone will be able to find the parent of the offender in the public domain. The Ministry is confident that such a resource will become an effective tool for influencing evading financial responsibility of the parents. Also in one of the paragraphs of the draft law on the payment of alimony provided, that persons who do not pay money for the maintenance of their children, will lose the right to travel abroad, if such payment is not made more than six months.
Moreover, unfair parent, the law will be able to attract to the execution of public works, and funds that will earn the would-be parent for such work, will go to the child’s account.
According to statistics of the Ministry of justice, this year the state has collected more than half a billion hryvnias of the alimony in favor of more than half a million minors. Today on the account at Executive service about 600 cases marked the enforcement of child support.
As you know, recently the government increased the amount of alimony one parent. Now to pay for one child to not less than 50% of the established in the country of the subsistence minimum.
