In the Ivan Honchar Museum in the capital presented the largest online archive of the song “Polyphony”. Today held its Grand opening.
“This is an international Ukrainian-Hungarian-French project, which has received the trust and support of the European Union program “Creative Europe”. “Polyphony” brought together the present and the past”, – said the Minister of culture of Ukraine Yevhen nischuk.
The project includes 931 song, they recorded in the 80 villages of Ukraine. Videos made in three languages – Ukrainian, Hungarian and English.
Initiator and project Manager of the Hungarian musician and ethnographer Miklos Bot, which United around the idea of Ukrainian heritage Hungarian and Ukrainian researchers, scientists, Museum workers. This is one of the first Ukrainian project, which is supported by the EU program “Creative Europe”.
The main goal of the project is to integrate Ukrainian cultural heritage in a contemporary global context.
