In Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation) in July 2017, the unemployment rate compared to the previous month decreased slightly and amounted to 1.2%.
According to the State statistics service of Ukraine (gosstat).
In July 2017 in the State employment service was registered 319,9 thousand unemployed (against 330,2 thousand a month earlier). Thus, the number of unemployed decreased by 10.3 thousand. While 256,9 thousand people registered as unemployed received unemployment benefits.
The average benefit per unemployed in July 2017 amounted to 2 thousand UAH 40, 119 UAH more than in June.
Among the urban population was 191 thousand unemployed, among rural – 128.9 thousand With females was 178,6 thousand unemployed, among men – 141,3 thousand
