In Ukraine, the average salary has grown

Real wages in Ukraine in September 2017, compared to September last year increased by 17.3%. This was reported by the State statistics service on Friday.

As noted, the average nominal wage of full-time employees in September compared to August 2017 increased by 3.3%, in annual terms – by 37,2%, amounting to UAH 7351, while in August – 7114 UAH, July – 7339 UAH, in June – 7360 UAH in may – 6840 UAH, April – 6659 UAH, March – 6752 UAH, in February – UAH 6209, January – 6008 UAH.

According to statedata, the largest increase in average wages of full-time employees in September compared to September 2016 was seen in Ternopil (51.6%), Ivano-Frankivsk (37.3%), Zakarpattia (by 47.2%), Volyn (by 45.6%), Khmelnytskyi (by 47.6%), Chernivtsi (46.7%), Zhytomyr (by 44.8%), Kherson (44.6%), Cherkasy and Kirovohrad (by 44.4%), Lviv (41%), Kharkiv (40.5%), in Kyiv – by 31.2%.

In the Donetsk and Lugansk regions (excluding part of the area of the ATO) wage growth was 34.1% and 21.9%, respectively.

The highest level of salaries in the last month recorded in Kiev – 11423 UAH, the lowest – in the Chernivtsi region – 5731 UAH.

In September 2017, compared with the same month in 2016, the wages increased in the field of public administration and defence, compulsory social security (69,3%), education (57.9%), in the arts, sports, entertainment, and recreation (45.2%), health care (45,0%), in the field of temporary accommodation and catering (39.4%); in the sphere of administrative and additional service (by 38.9%); agriculture, forestry and fisheries (38.6%),in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 33.0%), in the field of wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (32.1%), construction (31.6%), financial and insurance activities (29.6%), in industry (29.0 per cent); information and telecommunications (23.5%),transportation, warehousing, post and courier activities (22.2%).

Recall that the average wage in Ukraine in August decreased in comparison with June by 3.1 to 7114 hryvnia per month.
