Now in Ukraine there are 40 sugar mills.
Sugar production in Ukraine as of 31 October 2017 amounted to 1 million tons.
This was reported in the press service of the National Association of sugar producers Ukrtsukor.
The company also added that now in Ukraine there are 40 sugar factories, which to date has processed 7.24 million tons of sugar beet.
We will remind, the new season of sharovarova in Ukraine began on 30 August. Note that at the end of September, Ukraine produced 201.9 million tonnes of sugar.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian refiners in the first half of 2017 increased supplies to foreign markets by almost 6 times compared to the previous marketing year.
