Ukraine for 5 months has reduced coal production by 3.2 percent.
Coal mining enterprises of Ukraine in January-may 2017 reduced production of raw coal according to the operative data, by 3.2% (517,2 thousand tons) compared to the same period of 2016 to 15 783,5 million tons.
As have informed Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” a source in the Ministry of energy and coal industry, coking coal production decreased by 26% (993,1 thousand tons) – up to 2 million 820,9 thousand tons, while energy increased by 3.8% (475,9 thousand tons) – up to 12 million 962,6 thousand tons.
In may 2017 the extraction of raw coal fell by only 2.9% (79,9 thousand tonnes) compared to may of 2016 – up to 2 million 714,7 thousand tons. Prey captured by militants of the coal enterprises of DTEK Donbass was offset by the increase of DTEK production in areas under their control.
So, if in may 2016 the captured “Komsomolets of Donbass”, Sverdlovanthracite and rovenkyanthracite total produced 674,7 thousand tons, production growth Pavlogradugol, Dobropolyeugol and “Belozerskaya” in may-2017 may-2016 amounted 787,5 thousand tons.
