The decision was taken unanimously.
The national Council for TV and radio broadcasting at a meeting held March 3, Friday, regarding the decision on issue of license renewal Radio News, voted unanimously for the non-renewal of license to the broadcaster at a frequency of 104.6 in the city of Kiev.
“Hearing the society and talking to his conscience, I take my words back, offer to move all our disputes in judiciary square and proceed to the consideration of the continuation of the license today,” said one of the members of the national Council Juliana Feshchuk.
The proposal was endorsed by Olga Herasymiuk, who presided in place of the missing head, Yuri Artyomenko.
“I support the decision of Pani Uliana, stop playing games, today we must approve the decision, to Express their position, and then, as has been correctly observed, proceed in the plane of the proceedings and see who, so to speak. But I think society will approve of our decision, which we have here determined,” said Herasymiuk.
After reading out the decision of the national Council, she brought to a vote the question “to Refuse the extension of the term of broadcast licenses in the city of Kiev”. For the decision not to extend was voted by all six members of the regulator. Immediately after that, they then also voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting.
The decision was taken despite the fact that about two thousand men under the walls of the national Council was required to renew the license of radio.
