For many Ukrainians, gasoline has become as inaccessible as new cars. But soon it may be significantly cheaper for certain segments of the population.
Over the last 20 years the ratio of the cost of gasoline to the level of wages in Ukraine, nothing has changed. If in 1997 the average Ukrainian could buy 238 liters of gasoline in 2017 on one salary can be purchased nearly 240 litres. But if you pay for electricity and gas may be refueled and will have nothing.
So today, April 1, 2017, in Committee on fight against fighters of witnesses living in new ways, decided to introduce subsidies for gasoline. Who will be able to issue, and that to do this is unknown so far. But, most likely, will operate the scheme by analogy with subsidies for housing and communal services. Namely – to apply for a grant for fuel, you first have to spend his month’s supply for travel enquiries from different institutions.
And although today we need funny joke, the issue of subsidies for gasoline does not seem to be funny. After all, it really worthy of consideration for certain people with limited financial means, but needing a car.
