Volunteers of the project “Peacemaker” launch the online system for the recognition of separatists, terrorists and other criminals called Identigraf. As reported by the MP, member of the Board of the Ministry of internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko on his page in Facebook, the website launch will take place at midnight before independence Day, August 24.
“Unique, not having analogues in the world, open for everyone” – described the new system Gerashchenko.
He said that the development of this system took 9 months and was conducted in collaboration with one of the world’s most famous social networks. “The uniqueness of this system is that it is the first system in the world that will work in open access on the Internet to search for separatists, terrorists and criminals. All other similar systems based on the algorithm of face recognition, working or in the mode of secrecy in the offices of leading intelligence services, or are closed for commercial purposes,” he said.
According to Gerashchenko, the system Identigraf can for 20-30 seconds to process millions of photographs of the separatists, terrorists and militants, collected by the volunteers of the center “Peacemaker”.
