In Ukraine increased the number of unemployed

In Ukraine, the growing unemployment among the economically active population.

The unemployment rate among the economically active population aged 15-70 years increased from 9.9% in the first quarter of 2016 to 10.1% in the first quarter of 2017.

About it reported in a press-service of the state statistics.

As noted, the results of sample surveys of population (households) on economic activity the number of employed population aged 15-70 in the first quarter of 2017 amounted to 15.9 million people, and the number of the unemployed — 1.8 million people.

The employment rate of population aged 15-70 years compared with the previous year decreased by 0.4 percentage points and amounted to 55.2%, and among the working-age population by 0.1 percentage points to 63.3%, respectively.
