In the village Mykulychyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, began to make a horror movie called “Morena”.

The plot of the film is the eternal struggle between good and evil. The script is based on the story of a modern young witch Ivanka, corrupt daughter of a powerful father, who in the pursuit of pleasure not shun anything. The locals called it Stained, in honor of the Midsummer effigies, which symbolizes evil, deceit and cruelty. But on the way she meets a student from the capital Anna, who came on vacation to her parents with her boyfriend Yuri.
Writer, Director, and a Director of photography was Sergey Aleshechkin, and producer – Gennady Boguk. The main roles are played by young actors, Ty Suruc, Irina Gromadskaya, Ilya valyanskaya. The film also stars actors Basil Basha, Alexander pecheritsa and Alexander Miller.
“We had planned to remove the “Morena” in Polesye, however, if you search the appropriate locations, came to the conclusion that nothing better of the Carpathians there. The fact that we have a fairly complicated staging film and locations it is not just beautiful landscapes, and part of the right atmosphere of the film. In particular, one of the key scenes of the film will take place on the suspension bridge, which should be as extreme and dangerous. Such a bridge we found in Mykulychyn”, – shared Aleshechkin.
According to the producer, “Morena” is a horror, with elements of ethnic mystery and Thriller. In the scenario a very clear dramaturgy. The creators obeshayut, unexpected twists and a dynamic plot will not give the viewer bored for a minute.
It is noted that the horror movie Aleshechkina – one of the winners of the 9th competition for the selection of the state. The total budget for the film is $ 39 million, half of them at the expense of the state.

Except Ivano-Frankivsk region, shooting will take place in Bukovina and Kiev region. To remove the film is going until the end of August. On the screens the film will be released in the spring and summer of 2018.
