In Ukraine for the first time officially celebrate Catholic Christmas

25 of December is one of the biggest holidays of the Christian world, Christmas

Earlier the President Petro Poroshenko signed a law establishing the official holidays and non-working day December 25 – Catholic Christmas.

The Christians of Western rite on 25 December for the first time is an official holiday, so Christmas for Ukrainian Roman Catholics this year special. Everyone will be able to meet his family – without compensatory time off at their own expense and the hassle of vacation.

As reported, the initiative regarding the establishment of the day on Christmas on December 25 in the Parliament by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on culture and spirituality Nicholas knyazhytsky. For this decision voted 238 people’s deputies.

Later, President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that establishes an official holiday and a day off on December 25.
