In Ukraine the legal status of Bitcoin plans to determine before the end of September 2017. Earlier, the NBU claimed that granting such a status bitcoin is complicated by several factors.
This was announced by the people’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy mushak on his page in Facebook. According to the report, the members of the Council reached a common understanding that Bitcoin, the Blockchain (a distributed database implemented in Bitcoin), and other crypto community need to protect and preserve.
“Today a meeting of the financial stability Board, which promised to resolve the status of Bitcoin. Will be a common position of the National Bank, Ministry of Finance, the NBU and other regulators on this issue. But decided to take three weeks to work Task Force”, – stated in the message.
The common position will be published on the websites of all regulators. Earlier, the NBU noted that the legal status of the cryptocurrency bitcoin is complicated by the lack of a consolidated approach to the classification and regulation of Bitcoin transactions in the world.
