Ukrainian gas stations have lowered the retail price of LPG at 10-50 cents per liter.
A number of networks of stations 29-30 August started to reduce the retail price of liquefied gas used as automobile fuel, for 10-50 cents per liter.
This was reported by the analyst consulting company UPECO, specializing in energy markets, Alexander Sirenko.
According to UPECO, for 10 cents per liter fuel is cheaper at the gas station Glusco (and costs of 14.95 hryvnia per liter) and “bars” (15,90 UAH per liter). 20 cents for a liter of gas is cheaper at the gas station “RUHR group” (of 16.79 hryvnia per liter), “Old-Nick” (16,19 hryvnia per liter), 40 cents per liter in network Jazz Oil (of 15.39 hryvnia per liter) and 50 cents per litre to 15.99 hryvnia per liter at the pump “energy TRANS”.
“This is only the first steps. Two days prices have fallen regional operators or small players. For a substantial reduction requires that prices dropped in the largest networks of filling stations” – said Sirenko, adding that two days average cost of gas in Ukraine fell by only 2 pennies per liter – to 16.01 hryvnia per liter.
The expert also noted the decreasing prices in the wholesale segment of the market. “Today in the opt, the average price fell by 486 hryvnias per tonne to 29 003 hryvnia per ton,” he added.
