In Ukraine can significantly increase alcohol

Recall that in 2017, the Parliament raised the excise tax on beer and alcoholic beverages.

Minimum retail and wholesale prices for vodka can be improved by 7.6% and 11.4% to 375,56 and 250,46 UAH per liter of 100% alcohol.

According to the Ministry of economic development and trade draft resolution provided for an increase in the minimum wholesale price of cognac “three stars” with the current 336,22 UAH per liter of 100% alcohol to UAH 355,25, retail – 524,5 UAH to UAH 548,81, “four stars”, respectively, with 352,24 UAH to UAH 371,27 and 549,5 to 568,11 UAH, “five stars” – 384,29 403,22 UAH to UAH 599,5 and 622,36 UAH to UAH.

Minimum prices for wine will remain at 33 UAH per bottle 0.7 l in retail, on fortified wine will increase by 1.8% to 42.76 UAH, champagne per bottle 0,7 l by 1.7% to UAH 71,07.

According to the explanatory note to the document, the current minimum price imposed in November 2016 and their level does not correspond to the real costs of production and realization of alcoholic beverages in connection with the excise tax increase in 2017.

As reported, the Parliament raised the excise tax in 2017 for beer by 12% — to 2.78 UAH/liter, alcoholic beverages — by 20%, до126,96 UAH/ liter of 100% alcohol.

The excise rate on wine has not changed and remained at the level of 0.01 UAH/liter, fortified wine and vermouth increased 12% to 8.02 UAH per liter, sparkling wine – 12% to 11.65 UAH/liter.
