Vyatrovich told about the new calendar of public holidays in Ukraine

In Ukraine plan to change the public holiday calendar, in particular, to move the output from may 9 to may 8 and reformat on 8 March, International women’s day Day of struggle for women’s rights.

This was stated by the Director of the Ukrainian Institute of national memory Vladimir vyatrovich.

According to him, may 1, remains a holiday, but not as international workers ‘ day and labour Day.

Also upheld the proposal to transfer the output from 9 may to 8 may and on reformatting, on 8 March, International women’s day Day of struggle for women’s rights, and proposed to deprive him of the status of the output.

Now we submitted the bill for approval by the Cabinet, but, unfortunately, it is not yet approved, as it received comments from the Ministry of culture,
– said vyatrovich.

The head of the Ukrainian Institute of national remembrance said that an agreement was reached on the broad consultations for the filing of the bill, as a government.

“If you do not succeed, have the support of a significant number of MPs, so will submit it as a parliamentary bill. I believe that this is a very important step forward. This is a continuation of de-communization. Because we finally have to stop living in sync with the state-an aggressor”, – he added.
